Anyways…
I thought I’d seperate the rant from the actual goings on of today… Of course, today doesn’t really get interesting until after the service. As today was just reading my new book and watching Numb3rs!
After church I managed to chat to Matt - the baptism’s confirmed for Easter morning, eep! - to Mike - who is actually the Mike that my aunty knows - and then to various other people, finishing with Bron and Holly. I like talking to those two - they’re fun and young and remind me of what it was to be fun and young. And no - I won’t go in to the whole better looking of the 3 debacle that somehow always erupts when I’m around Laura. Who knows - Holly might find this… lol!
Thankfully, despite Tim’s best efforts, Bron noticed that he was trying to leave, and notified me, and left me scampering off. To maccas we went - where the lovely Dani (who yes, is better looking then I am, despite me being more feminine then her!) bought me dinner - for which I will pay her back asap! She also informed me that I was to take her hair-product shopping, as she apparently has no idea about that stuff!
After that we headed to Dave and Cass’s, where all but Laurz and I played Phase 10, leaving us two to sit and chat.
May I take the time to pass on my condolences to all the friends who have lost a special someone. A dear friend of Laura’s - and many others - was called in to God’s glory. And though there is a ray of sunshine amongst the darkness, the darkness seem’s very strong at the moment to very many people.
Home I am now - and about to go off to bed. Superbowl tomorrow, starting at 1030 I think, so I’m up for that, and then off to buy some books, and do some grocery shopping! As long as the transfer happens… =) Check out my Flickr for some photos from tonight!
