Day on the Town #2

I think today has definitely got to be ranked amongst the greatest days of my life. How much fun, seriously, can be packed in to one day? I dunno, but I’m sure I got pretty close!

First church.

*groan*

NO, no no no! I’m serious! Rach and I headed to Crossway’s in the morning for church, and had… oh my gosh! How good is God, to give me just what I need - the gift of the Holy Spirit - this close to… eeek! NZ! The worship was awesome as well, and the sermon was just… oh gosh! Stuart Robinson - you are a master!

From there we went to Knox for lunch at K-FaCcas, before heading to take Energizer to the awesome vet lady. And despite a severe need for some lessons in cat treatment, what an awesome woman!

Then to the Zoo! How awesome is the ZOO?! I haven’t been in like, AGES! Check out the Flickr for the latest photos, but here’s one of my favorites!

I can not tell you how awesome this guy looked - apart from the whole being caged bit, which kind of nagged in the back of my head the whole visit. But, apart from that, the sheer majesty of some of these creatures - our furry friend included - was just… gobsmacking!

Of course, sadly, the visit was marred by the arrival of Babba… let us never speak of them again…

After going round and round in circles, we finally got out, and headed in to the town to eat. See my meal below!

After

Mmmmm… Baby Barramundi! Gotta love it, in a lovely garlic and butter sauce! The city was amazing as always, I love my town, and I’m really going to miss it when I’m gone! But, God has provided me with the abilities and strength to make it through NZ, and out the other side in one piece. He’s given me wonderful friends, and people who care for me and will stay in contact with me. I need nothing more in life than my God, and my friends… I actually need nothing more than my God, but my friends are just so awesome!

Well - I’m off to bed. Been a long day, and I want to get some sleep.

Cheers!

I’m glad you had a fun day … sounds wonderful. I couldn’t help looking at your meal … Why does Baby Barra look so happy before you started, and so … um… sad, shocked, when you finished? :-D Poor Baby Barra.

Email me more about Crossways, ok? :-)
