site design issues…

So I’ve had some notes about the site design having a flaw and, I’ve only just found it… because I work in 1280×1024 resolution, there was obviously no problem with a full screen firefox. However when I reduced the firefox screen size I saw the problem. I’ll try and fix it now… bare with me!

*Update*

Ok so, I’ve had a fiddle, and, well, it’s not my fault… it’s all yours! Make sure your browser window is open wide enough, because that is the only problem. The site is a fixed width, and when you people have smaller windows, it kicks the right sidebar downstairs… so just stretch open your browser an inch, stop being stingy!

Don’t be a tight wad. Fix it for those of us with small monitors and bad eyesight!

Oh yeah, make your width a % rather than fixed to get around the format issues.

Ok, well, like Matt said, make it a percentage, and I’m running on 1280×800, and the main column and right column get pushed down the page, not just the right… oh, and you haven’t formatted the comments bit… it still has the header “wordpress blog - your tagline here” and so perhaps reduce the width of the middle column, it looks a tad wide… perhaps that might help fix your problem.

Dave ;)

So - I’m running on 1280×800 on 17 inch screen, and the columns are still spread like Dave’s (above).
