easter, belgrave and transformers

First of all, make sure you check out Loss of a Child. I posted a widget from last.fm to listen to a song and, I really urge you to check them out. A very talented band!

However, on to the nothingness…

In short, ’cause I’m really tired and my legs are aching, went to Crossways this morning for the greatest performance I have ever seen. Crossways have such amazing talent, and such a will to put that talent to use, that the In Memoriam show that they put on over two nights and this morning was simply… well, breathtaking. I was crying by the end of it, and during it too…

The most moving aspect was finally recognizing that Mary would not have been the young-in she had always been in my head when she saw her son on the cross. She would have been a little bit older than my mum is at the moment, and … well, it hit me! Who needs the Passion of the Christ huh?

We then headed to Belgrave to sit in on the middle session which was, well, pretty good, despite the protests of Rach’s boss and boss’s wife. Of course, Beth ended up having her wires crossed and wasn’t able to give me a lift home, but it was nice to see her again.

So, home I came on the public transport, reading the first book in Robin Hobbs’ second trilogy, The Liveship Traders. It really is very good, and I’m definitely getting in to the whole seafaring thing that’s goin on.

Of course, one of the items that finished downloading today were the trailers for the new Transformers movie that is soon to be released. I was blown away and, not being a huge transformers fan, I can’t wait for the movie to see what it’s all about. Check below for the trailer but, as for me, I’m off to bed!

LOVE transformers! Used to watch the cartoon all the time, way back when Optimus Prime was still the head good dude.

Can’t wait for this one!
