Tour de France Finale

I never thought I’d hear myself say this, but I’m actually anticipating the end of the Tour de France. And I don’t mean that I’m looking forward to see who will win, that’s a no-brainer. But I’m looking forward to the Monday night where I don’t have to spend 3 hours writing just one article. And no, I don’t write for 3 hours - I mean I have to sit down and watch the Tour before I can write on it.

Now of course, I don’t mind this. But it has sent the amount of writing I can do out the window, and I’m only managing about 6 articles a night. So with the end of the Tour, I’ll reacquire about 3 hours a night of work time which, I’m hoping, will be able to be fed straight in to my creative writing!

I’ve started draft 2 of my new novel, and I’m really happy with the 600 words or so that I’ve got. Doesn’t seem like a lot, I know, but remember that it is 600 words that has shaped how the next several thousand will be written. So I’m looking forward to putting those few thousand - which are obviously already in my head a bit - down on to hardcopy.

I’m gonna go to bed now, I need my sleep! I’ve had early wake up times the past two nights, and I’m looking forward to being able to sleep through till whenever I want! I’m gonna leave my computer on of course so that I can download the next BOL episode as well as the Dark Knight trailer which has made it’s way online.

Cya’s people! Oh, by the way, The Simpsons movie, very funny!

“Spider Pig! Spider Pig! Does whatever a Spider Pig does! Can he swing, from a web? No he can’t, ’cause he’s a pig! Look out!!! He is a Spider Pig!”
