iPho… iPod News Coming Soon?

The iPhone is only fresh out of the box, but already Apple are gearing up for the release – we think – of the newest version of the iPod. It is big news sweeping the tech industry, with invitations going out for their “special event” held in San Francisco, on September 5th, entitled “The beat […]

Future Ice Age Put on the Back Burner

Dr Toby Tyrrell of the University of Southampton’s School of Ocean and Earth Science at the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton has published a report in the latest edition of New Scientist magazine laying out his research that future ice-ages – an evolutionary imperative for the planet earth – could be pushed back some half a […]

Keyword Pop Ups

Ryan Block of Engadget fame has posted on his personal blog about his distaste for keyword pop ups… You’ve no doubt seen them, those little green highlighted words that, when you roll your mouse over them, brings up a little ad for something or other…
Well I’m with him on my deep and fervent desire […]

Aching Muscles

I’m beginning to realize that my muscles aren’t used to a regular run in the morning (or, my evening… whatever)! I’m sitting here on the other side of my run with more articles to write, and my feet hurt… ack!

Gotham Hospital goes Kaboom!

Recorded, by me, from the live pictures broadcast by Fox Chicago. Thanks to Fox for the great pictures, it was really cool to witness!

[UPDATE] Well, it looks as though Fox didn’t like that I had put this video up, so until I manage to host it somewhere else, we’ll just have to make do […]

We’re all screwed

It’s going to take until 2049 until the ozone shield reverts back to the happier pre-1980 levels. According to the NASA Ozone Hole Watch and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) though, this year the hole is already making an appearance.

Garfield Funniness

Another good one… I’m off to have a shower, my hair is pissing me off, and I have to write… although, already written one and a half articles!

Remember to check out the source of this great comic (on the web) over at GoComics.

BABY!

Saw my new little fake-niece today! She’s so gorgeous, and sooo very light!

And I held her today, first time I’ve held a baby since I probably grabbed my little brother around the waist to see how high I could hoist him!

I apparently did very well, no crying, and only a bit of […]

Fear of Heights anyone?

This is one escalator I will not be tempted to visit… even if it were, you know, within zone 2 so that I can actually afford to get there…

Check out the rest of the images from the worlds highest escalator in Osaka Japan.

Buggerish…

Again I am completely un-motivated to do absolutely anything… I can’t seem to move from my chair, and even though there is some furniture moving that I would like to do to rearrange my lounge room, I just can’t be bothered getting to it… I know it’s all in my head, but I think that […]

Totally and Utterly Without Motivation

That is the best way to describe my current state… it’s actually a little worrying! I have no desire to do anything but go to bed, and listen to my iPod! Granted, my iPod is slowly filling up with a whole heap of new podcasts, taking the total amount of podcasts that I listen too […]

Grievance…

I’d air both my grievances, but I’m learning a bit of tact… so I’ll pass on the first one concerning the selfishness of others, and move straight on to emails.
People, I ask you, how hard is it to reply to everything in an email. How hard is it to reply to both emails I’ve […]

uh… my fortune telling RSS feeds!

Every now and then we get thrown a curve-ball (an apt analogy considering I finally got my baseball back). I got one as I was browsing through my RSS feeds for tonight’s work, and found this…

Since when can my RSS feed browser predict the future?
