All Halo’s Eve
We’re just over an hour away from the official launch of the mighty Halo 3, and the newswires are going crazy. The final installment of its Halo series has seen live events country wide, with Microsoft showing off their power with NFL stars, rappers, prizes and spotlights to draw a fanatic crowd.
Though, with the amount of attention that Halo 3 has been getting, Microsoft didn’t really need to build up the hype any further. But, as with any big release in the post-iPod era, Microsoft have gone big and beautiful!
They’ve even gone and thrown a party at their Silicon Valley HQ for some 700 developers, all of whom are from the SV area. According to Doug Free, the company’s Silicon Valley public relations director, “The whole idea was to invite the developer community, tech influencers and gamers, to come and compete, see a preview (and) enjoy Halo 3.”
There’s not much more to be said, and as I close this article, it now rests on an hour left until New York fans will be able to get their hands on the long awaited game, run home, and enjoy!
