Justice League Storyline Spoilers

[From my article at ComicBookMovie.com]

The time has (probably) come. We now have what are (probably) the major plot points from the script for the upcoming Justice League movie. If you don’t want to have the surprise ruined, don’t take the jump, and feel sorry for me who had to report it regardless of my spoiler loathing.

Possible spoilers.

I wonder how accurate the source of all that is - it really seems to be a recreation of the ‘Tower of Babel’ storyline from way back in 2001. That was where Ra’s al Ghul had his daughter steal all of Batmans secret files on the league - he then btook down the whole league, Big S included. After that the league realized later on that Batman had been spying on them and they threw him out, but they all got together soon after and for the first time revealed all their identities. So I’m kind of scpetical about it being the plot of the movie, rather than someone trying to ’scoop’. It was a great storyline though, and I won’t complain if it is.

Of course, that’s when Rayner was GL in the league, but I can undesrtand increasing the political correctness by adding an angry black man to the mix. Cast Samuel L! Altough I can really see DB Wooside in the role.

The Redeye stuff, yeah that comes closed to the infinite crisis storyline with Lord and then the stuff with Brother Eye, but i still think its much closer to the older Babel story. My bet is that whoever the so far unnamed seventh member is - that will be the villain. After Batman begins, it could very well be a league of shadows type. Cue Aquaman saving the day. Well maybe not - unless Vincent Chase is going to get cast.

Plus - Wally was always much younger than the others - around ten years. It was Barry wo was their counterpart. Wally was always much moresarcastic, hip, and a schoolboy crush on someone like Wonder Woman - wouldn’t surprise me much.
