Stargate Atlantis Season 5
This is great news for me… Stargate Atlantis has been picked up for a fifth season by the Sci-Fi Channel in the States! Fans were a little nervous as to whether it would, and this is just great news. Official announcement here!
That bodes well too, for this is what executive producer Joseph Mallozzi had to say on his blog about the season 4 cliffhanger;
“I joined Marty G. and Paul for a special screening of ‘The Last Man’ director’s cut. A great season-ender (and a bit of a tearjerker — I defy you not to cry or feel sad or pity or slightly dizzy) with a final shot that will have fandom buzzing from final fade to the opening shot of season five.”
So not only can I continue to watch season 4 in the safe and comfortable knowledge that I get a fifth season, but that it’s going to be a great cliffhanger too.
