Wonder Woman Found in Oz?

Over at Earth’s Mightiest, sister site to CBM, there’s an article mirroring many regarding the rumor that Australian actress Teresa Palmer will be playing Wonder Woman in the Justice League movie.

Now I’ve been on the phone for the past hour or so, attempting to get at least some confirmation from any of her managerial team, and no one has anything to offer. And, because I only managed to get to this part of my day late, I got too late to sneak in to the end of the New York work day, where at least one contact at WB was already gone for the day.

So, I’ll keep trying, but by the time I get to it, we may already know something. I’d like to think I’m good, but I know I’m no CHUD or IESB just yet.

Now, putting aside my issues with filming this within the next five years to begin with, I actually like this choice.

Here’s why…

She’s Australian, so her accent is going to be a bit off-par for the course, which could be good for a character who is supposed to come from a lone island named Themyscyra.

She’s got the build for it, both in height, and in bust. And, while some may cringe at my measuring her bust, this is Wonder Woman we’re talking about. She has a costume that has a lot of hope built in to her bust. There’s a big issue of trust there. Just look! *points to photo* So having a decent bust size is always important.

And lastly, she is very beautiful. She’s got a great smile, and just really looks the part. She’s no Morena Baccarin, but I’ll take her at a pinch. And no, no jokes about pinching!

I’d like to get an idea of what you all think of this choice, and whether it is just a rumor or not. Comments as per the norm… :)
