Imperialistic Ramble

As I sit here listening to the inimitable Missy Higgins, I am loving these summer days. I honestly can’t say how much I’m enjoying having this heat suffuse the house: it’s awesome!

But once again I’m reminded of the fact that any day now we’re about to enter not only bushfire season, but also further drought conditions.
