don’t cross fade your (loud) music and your (quiet) voice- I didn’t hear what you said before “I have an intro”
Castle intrigue. Quests are an easy way to develop a hero and take the story somewhere. Castle intrigue could get a bit heavy, or turn into Miss Marple in the Middle ages. (No body knock the Cadfael books though, they’re great.)
“Cheap” Quests are over done. But if you found an awesome new way to work in a quest (in a castle maybe?) then it would be interesting.
Also, you don’t want it seen as a political metaphor of today’s world.
Hope my random thoughts have some coherency.
So nice to hear you chatting … Covering things well and keeping it brief, without my gift for waffle. Great job on eliminating/reducing the um-s … hard to do, but you worked well on that. No idea about the book, sorry - but you could predict that. Just that I enjoyed listening to you. Oh - and I love the picture of Tabs on sheepy. :-)

Jack’s Mannequin huh? Should sound good from what I’ve heard of Something Corporate. They have the same lead singer/songwriter. :)
